My big brother Matt and his fiancée Jana flew to New York from LA a few weeks ago to celebrate their engagement with family on the East Coast. We had an amazing dinner at Freeman’s in SoHo and a night out on the town (if that old lady turn of phrase didn’t give it away, that’s not something I do very often). The restaurant sits at the end of this secret alley that’s covered in beautiful graffiti and café lights. We were all so taken with it that we decided to return there the next day to take some engagement photos. I was so proud of Matt for being so easy going–he was a natural with poses, even with his little sister bossing him around. I’m so glad we got to do this together, and I can’t wait to be there for their wedding in the spring!
